Frontispiece from a law book in Latin, published by the Jonae Rosae society and with a woodcut showing their emblem: Jonah spat up onto land by the whale, with ships and a town in the background, and an elaborate border with figures and floral motifs.
Interestingly, this frontispiece appears to have a misprint. Below the woodcut, where the names of the publishers are given, that of Lazarus Zetzner--in other copies listed as Lazari Zetzneri--is listed as Lazari Tzezneri.
There is an owner's name handwritten on the center left margin in acidic iron gall ink, which is eating away at the paper. It reads, "[Lebr?]acinus".
