A west-oriented map of the British Isles from an earlier edition of Jan Jansson's Atlas Novus with rhumb lines. Hand-colored and with numerous handwritten notes especially around the border. Several are names of cities and towns in Britain. Color added to flags on ships in the water identifies some as dutch and at least one as English. Verso is blank.
