A sepia half-tone depicting a quarter view of the stern and port-broadside of a yacht of the Dutch East India Company from 1630. The stern is ornately decorated with sculptures and the mast is without any sails. A large fin is attached to the broadside of the ship.
The collector, Arthur H. Clark, used this print from his collection to illustrate his book 'The History of Yachting, 1600-1815' (New York & London: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1904), 36.
