An uncolored lithograph of a port-broadside view of the SS 'Europa.' She flies the American flag on her foremast and a British ensign at her stern. The print depicts the steamship before her mizzen mast was removed in 1853. She regularly sailied to Liverpool-Halifax-Boston/New York. She was also notable for colliding with and sinking the emigrant ship 'Charles Bartlet' on September 2, 1848 in which 135 lives were lost.
