This painted stela was dedicated by a man named Sennefer to the deified queen Ahmose-Nefertari, who was worshiped at Deir el-Medina as a protector of the royal tomb builders. She is shown seated, receiving offerings, with the dedicant and his family in the register below.
Stelae like this were set up in household shrines and in the chapels around the village, and show the personal devotion of Egyptian workers to their local gods.
