Gold seal ring, with carnelian scarab mounted on a swivel. The hoop is of 1.5-mm wire. Thinner wire runs through a hole drilled through the scarab, then passes through perforations in the ends of the hoop wire and wraps six times around the hoop wire on each side. The back of the scarab is shallowly and indistinctly modelled, although its folded wings are indicated by two incised lines. The underside is carved in intaglio, with an open-mouthed lion crouching right, its tail curved forward over its back. Diameter of ring 2.1 cm, length of scarab 1.2 cm, width 8 mm.
