During the Republic of China, Mr. Zhu Shaozhou's family donated this set of seals for Zhu Shaozhou's personal use. Most of the seal engravers were the seal engravers of the Zhejiang School during the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. Among them, there were many founders and important members of the Xiling Seal Society, including Ye Weiming, Fang Jiekan, Han Dengan, etc. During his stay in Hangzhou, Zhu Shaozhou had close contacts with members of the Xiling Seal Society.
