School Library
Every tour on Mused is free, and so is the school library once your school signs up. A plan is for schools that need more from us. We work with your IT team until the tours load in your classrooms, and we can set up copies that run without the internet.
Teachers write to us when a tour works at home and stops at school. A class gets to the second stop, every computer in the room shows the same error, and it looks like the tour is broken.
Most of the time it's the school's network holding part of the tour back. Web filters often stop large 3D files and addresses they haven't seen before, and thirty students opening the same tour in the same minute can be too much for a busy connection.
With a school plan we sort this out with you. We test the tours from your school and write to your IT team with what to allow. Then we stay with it until your classes can use them. Where the network can't be changed, we set up copies of the tours and simulations you teach with that run from your school's own computers or server.
If you'd like to try on your own first, ask your IT team to allow these addresses. Students who sign in with Google also need accounts.google.com.

No. Every tour stays free, with a plan or without one. A plan pays for our time with your school and for the characters' replies, which cost us something each time a student asks a question.
Some tours and simulations let students talk with people from the past, like Queen Nefertari or the farmers in the farm simulators. Everyone signed in gets 10 messages a day for free. After that each reply takes one credit from your plan.
We package the tours and simulations your classes use so they run from a computer or server at your school, with no internet connection once they are set up. Tell us which ones you teach with and we'll tell you what it takes.
For the school library and the characters they do. They sign in with their school email, or join your school with the link you share from the library. The tours themselves open from a link without signing in.
We never use it for ads or marketing.
Yes. Write to us with your school's name and the plan you'd like, and we'll send a quote and an invoice.
