The fleet organized in 1832 was headed Vice-Admiral Sir Pulteney Malcolm in order to test the rates of sailing of various new types of vessels. In the print, the 'Water Witch' is depicted as the largest ship in the left side of the print. The other HMS vessels are in the distance.
