A port-broadside view of the three-masted, extreme clipper ship 'Young America.' She flies a US flag at her stern and other vessels are seen in the distance on the left side of the print. Below the print, there is a dedication to the owner, George Daniels, and a list of dimensions. During her career, the 'Young America' sailed regular routes from New York to San Francisco. In 1883, she was sold to an Austrian owner and renamed 'Miroslav.' In 1886, she passed the Delaware Breakwater outward bound from Philadelphia for Fiume and was never heard from again.
