Starboard-broadside view of the steamship 'Precurso'�� as part of the Eastern Steam Navigation Company. The steamship was purchased by the Peninsular and Oriental Steam navigation Company in 1844 after years of haggling. She regularly traveled from the Suez to Calcutta.
