A 19th-century, sepia half-tone reproduction of an engraving. The stern of the yacht is elaborately ornamented with sculptures of mythological figures, such as Andromeda being saved by Perseus from a sea monster, and vegetal relief ornamentation. Between the two windows of the galley is a Dutch crest and above are a single poop lantern and a large Dutch flag. The collector, Arthur H. Clark, used this print from his collection to illustrate his book 'The History of Yachting, 1600-1815' (New York & London: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1904), 32.
