With an engraving depicting an early Christian sarcophagus with two rows of carvings featuring Biblical scenes, and a central motif in a clamshell-shaped frame with a carving of a man, a scroll in one hand and two fingers raised in the other, and a woman, with her hands on the man's shoulders. The engraving depicts the faces of both the man and the woman as having been scraped away. Italian text printed above and below describes the figure.
Watermark in paper; a rectangular shieldlike form with what may be an animal motif.
