An original watercolor of a sailor reefing a cutter rig on the deck of the sailing 'Kriemhilda.' She heads towards the lightship 'Sand Head' in the left background. Owned by Count Batthyany, she was said to be built in "the best possible manner" under the surveillance of C. Napier Pearn, Esq., Secretary of the Royal Albert Yacht Club. She fared well in races; she won the Queen's Cup at the Royal Albert Yacht Club regatta in 1873.
