A beached whale between Scheveningen and Katwijk. This engraving was for a 1684 publication (Pieter Cristiaenszoon Bor: Oorspronk, Begin, en Verfolgh der Nederlandsche Oorlogen. Vol. 4), and was based on a draft by Hendrik Goltzius and an engraving by Jacob Matham.
