The Temple of Apollo at Sounion is a remarkable ancient Greek temple situated at the tip of Cape Sounion, approximately 70 kilometers southeast of Athens, on a headland overlooking the Aegean Sea. This temple, dedicated to Apollo, the god of light, prophecy, music, and healing, is lesser-known compared to the Sanctuary of Poseidon, which is also located at Sounion, but it holds significant historical and cultural importance.
