Tomb of Seti I, Valley of the Kings

The Tomb of Seti I, located in the Valley of the Kings, Luxor, Egypt, is one of the most magnificent and elaborately decorated tombs in this ancient burial ground. Designated as KV17, it was constructed for Pharaoh Seti I, who ruled Egypt from around 1290 to 1279 BC, during the period of the New Kingdom's 19th Dynasty. Seti I was a pharaoh noted for his military campaigns and contributions to building projects across Egypt, and his tomb reflects the artistic and architectural zenith reached during his reign.
